HOUSE RULES
Property: 3 Bedroom Home – Salernes, France
These House Rules form an integral part of the rental agreement (contrat de location saisonniere). By confirming the booking and occupying the property, the tenant accepts all rules below without reservation.
1. Occupancy
The property is rented for a maximum of 6 persons.
Only individuals declared at the time of booking are authorised to occupy the property.
Subletting or transfer of the rental agreement is strictly prohibited.
2. Duration of Stay
The rental is granted on a temporary basis only and does not constitute a primary residence.
Check-in and check-out times must be respected as agreed in the booking confirmation
3. Use of Property
The tenant agrees to use the property peacefully and in accordance with its intended residential purpose.
Parties, events, or professional use are prohibited unless expressly authorised in writing.
4. Neighbourhood Respect
The tenant must respect the tranquillity of the neighbourhood.
Noise must be kept to a minimum, particularly between 22:00 and 08:00.
5. Maintenance and Condition
The property must be returned in a clean and orderly condition.
The tenant is responsible for maintaining the premises during the stay.
Any damage, deterioration, or loss must be reported immediately.
6. Security Deposit
A security deposit may be retained in part or in full in the event of damage to the property or its contents, excessive cleaning requirements, or breach of these rules.
7. Insurance
The tenant is responsible for ensuring they are covered by personal liability insurance for the duration of the stay.
The owner’s insurance does not cover tenant belongings or tenant liability.
8. Personal Belongings
The owner declines all responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
The tenant remains solely responsible for their property at all times.
9. Liability and Assumption of Risk
All guests occupy and use the property entirely at their own risk.
The owner shall not be held liable for any accident, injury, illness, or death occurring on the premises.
The owner shall not be liable for any incident arising from use of the property, including stairs, terraces, gardens, pools, or equipment.
The tenant accepts full responsibility for their own safety and that of all occupants.
Children must be supervised at all times.
All facilities and equipment are used at the tenant’s own risk.
10. Force Majeure
The owner shall not be held responsible for interruptions or incidents caused by events beyond their control, including natural events or utility outages.
11. Safety and Local Regulations
The tenant agrees to comply with all local laws and regulations, including fire prevention rules and any water usage restrictions.
12. Breach of Rules
Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund, retention of the security deposit, and additional charges if applicable.
13. Governing Law
These rules are governed by French law. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
Acceptance
By confirming the booking and occupying the property, the tenant confirms full acceptance of these House Rules.
